DIY Divination Cards

Divination can be any tool that you decide to use to try and receive answers or information. People have used the clouds to look for shapes, animals to be an omen, charms using various bobbles from around the home, and even bones that they throw down and look at how they land. You can make your own methods with whatever you have on hand but a way that I really enjoy is making my own cards using a card deck. This is a deck that I had on-hand and I sat down to think of words that typically made sense for me, or words I see come up often in readings. I wanted to utilize both ends of the card so I tried to organize them by selecting phrases that were somewhat opposites to each other, although I didn't make that a hard rule. I then wrote on the cards with a sharpie & voila! A DIY Divination method. I can say that because I created this deck, I do have an easier time reading it for myself than when I use other decks. I've also worked with a deity to come up with phrases and pop-culture references to add to the card for Elair, and Elair created a really wonderful deck for me using phrases she came up with regarding art and creativity. I'll leave space at the end of this post for her to add her contributions but I hope this gives you good ideas regardless!
