You already are who you dream to be

Your words are worthy of being read. Your art is worthy of being seen. Your music or voice is worthy of being heard. Your love and compassion are worthy of being felt. Something you will create is needed by someone who will find it. They may not find it tomorrow, or in 10 months, or in 2 years. But somebody will scroll far back into your posts, divinely guided to find exactly what they needed to receive.
Your creations matter because they’re yours, they’re parts of you that you’re sharing with the world whether it’s an opinion, an experience, an insight into your personal life, or anything else. You deserve to be seen and valued always, so don’t reject yourself before you can even have a chance to soar on the wind. Write that post, that caption, that newsletter; make that song, that podcast, that meditation; make that painting, that craft, that art; create from the heart, take a deep breath, and then share your little piece of your soul with the world. We’re ready, we’re waiting, we’re eager to receive you with open arms. Your people are here and they will find you <3
I wanted to lead with something from the heart, something also a little bit channeled from Spirit. More times than I can count, I’ve deleted my own posts or thrown away other creations I’ve made for a multitude of reasons. A few weeks ago I was scrolling way back through a podcast and a youtube channel that I had just found. I listened to and watched content from 2 to 5 years ago and I thought, I wonder if it’s strange to like things from so long ago. But how silly is it that we wonder how we’ll be received for giving someone else praise for their creation to begin with?
Imagine for a moment that you poured your heart out into a caption or made a really special inspo quote that contained something meaningful to you. You posted it and it got little or no traction, but you left it. Then a few months or even a few years down the road, some stranger comes along and not only engages with you on the contents (so you know they actually read it) but they also share that it was their reason or inspiration for doing something amazing with their life.
There have been so many times that I’ve found exactly what I needed to keep me going when my passion projects got hard. I frequently come across content that contains the exact answer or inspiration I need to answer a question I’ve had. Sometimes content can even save people.
Once upon a time, I came across a single TikTok video of a fabulous Queer Witch that reignited my passion for witchcraft, and it sent me hurtling down the path of getting into mediumship. Here I am, 5 years later all thanks to that single post that I came across. These thoughts have stuck with me so I’ve recently been stepping up letting people know when I’m moved, when I enjoy what they made, and what I think of it because I want people to know that someone out here cares about it far beyond the aesthetic and like count.
I implore you, please do not give up on yourself, your content, your passions, and sharing any piece of these things. Someone needs your posts the way I’ve needed every one I’ve come across. Whether they tell you or not, you’re touching others and changing lives every time you share. Keep creating. This is exactly what humans evolved to do. We didn’t survive millions of years of evolution without creating (tools, food preparation, shelter, clothing, art, stories, beliefs, and even systems of teaching that were passed down.)
As a species we’ve also learned to lean on each other because of our creations and our art. We’ve used it to tell stories, to share truths, to move people and inspire them to do the right thing, and so much more. Creation is resistance and a step towards an improved future. Even down to our cells that evolved over time they didn’t stop at 1 point, they kept going and now you see how many flora and fauna exist on this planet. The very universe itself is creation. We were literally born to create no matter what the current capitalist society tells us. Never stop creating, never stop sharing.
This is your sacred medicine because you, too, are as sacred as the earth and the stars; only you can offer the medicine that you create.
